Deborah. Crowell graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in History and Studio Art. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts. She has applied her creativity as a feng shui consultant, homeschool educator, and fine artist. Deborah brings excellent communication skills, patience, sensitivity, confidentiality, attention to details, and practical solutions to work with individuals to achieve outstanding results. Deborah has experience in teaching and exhibiting artwork as well as bookkeeping, scheduling, planning, and research. Deborah homeschooled her three children in Manhattan from beginning to college from 1993-2020. Two graduated with honors from Allegheny College and the College of Wooster. The third is a junior at a service academy. She founded Homeschooling Personalized (homeschoolingpersonalized.com) in 2020 to encourage and support parents and children. She has experience with the college application process, planning and completing an IHIP, choosing curricula, compliance with state regulations, and reducing stress and increasing joy through creative solutions.Deborah served for two years on the Council of the New York Home Educators’ Alliance (nychea.org), a secular organization with almost 400 families in New York City.
