I now apply my operations, human capital, and customer service acumen as a board director for multiple public and private companies as well as not-for-profit organizations.As Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services at NextEra Energy, I:● Was part of a team that helped the company earn numerous corporate recognitions for sustainability, ethics, and diversity, including a Fortune “World’s Most Admired Companies” designation.● Collaborated to transform Next Era’s health benefits system, drive record-high company safety performance, and modernize career development paths. ● Supported the transition of the company’s CEO, ten board members, and more than a dozen senior officers. Upon my retirement in 2024, I was incredibly moved and humbled to be recognized with a new, annual namesake award—the Deborah H.
