I am currently a pharmacy technician responsible for fillingprescriptions with the correct medications. I am also responsiblefor stocking shelves with medications and supplies needed to fillprescriptions. In this job I not only have to make sure that I amextremely accurate when completing these prescriptions but that Iam doing this quickly and efficiently. I also am responsible fortraining new employees when they are hired, and I teach a classfor new hires on everything that is needed to know to becomelicensed in the state of Indiana as a pharmacy technician. Thisclass includes job duties of a technician, regulations and lawsregarding medication and privacy, and also how to do anycalculations or conversions needed to know to complete aprescription from the time when it is received from a doctor until itis picked up by a patient.

I was responsible for filling medications, stocking shelves,ordering medications and supplies. I was also responsible for taking care of customers.

In this job I was responsible for taking care of customers fromthe time they came in to the bowling alley until the time theyleft. I would take care of the customers at the front counter andassign them to the lanes they would bowl on, and take theirpayments. I also cooked in the snack bar and delivered theirfood to their lanes. It was also my job to clean after the bowlershad left, and stock the entire building before closing every night.I handle the cash register and did the drops at the end of eachnight after counting the drawers and filling out the paper workthat would go to the companies accountant each morning.
