As well and many permanent displays, IWM delivers a varied programme of temporary exhibitions across 5 branches. These include art and photography displays, object rich exhibitions and immersive AV installations. The exhibition department's remit included the temporary exhibitions programme as well as gallery refreshes and other display projects at all IWM branches- Management of project programme from conceptual phases through scheme and detailed design, installation, opening and evaluation- Writing and issuing tenders and appointing contracts for exhibition partners including designers, quantity surveyors and fit out contractors- Coordination of project team, leading project meetings and presenting progress updates- Consulting on exhibition design to ensure accessibility and conservation targets are met- Management of fit out contractors, on site build and installation- Close liaison with external exhibition partners including artists, sponsors and curators - Assisting with continuous review of procurement procedures in exhibition delivery- Personnel management of the IWM workshop team, consisting of the workshop manger, 3 workshop assistants and various freelance and temporary technicians

By maximising self generated income via commercial ventures IWM secured its financial sustainability at a time when Grant in Aid funding to national museums is in decline. The Business Development manager worked on projects to maximise income growth across various income streams. - Strategically developing IWMs commercial partnerships, with a particular emphasis on public catering and corporate events (venue hire) contracts. - Developing new commercial businesses and services, including filming location contracts, commercial events for family and schools, private tours and VIP experiences at all IWM sites

Programming, marketing, delivery and evaluation of various events programmes across IWM sites- Venue hire at IWM London for private events- Public events programme at IWM London, HMS Belfast and Churchill War room, including family events, academic lectures and conferences', members events and the museum 'lates' programme - VIP visits and stakeholder events- Press events, including major anniversary events such as the 70th anniversary of D-day and events to commemorate the centenary of WWI, attended by veterans, politicians, celebrities and Royalty
