I have been an association management professional with a law degree, experienced with teaching, writing, public speaking, budgeting, grant writing, operations management, special event planning, customer and media relations, fund raising, advocacy and advising on regulatory compliance. I have developed compliance programs, event and meeting planning tools, marketing materials and educational materials and programs. Along with an excellent staff and a volunteer Board, I developed an organization of professionalism, creativity, responsiveness and the highest integrity, serving our members with enthusiasm, reliability and the highest of standards. I participated actively with the National Association of Dealer Counsel, where I served on the Board of Directors, and the Automotive Trade Association Executives, and would describe myself as a creative leader, engaging teacher and effective advocate and mediator.On a volunteer level, I have worked with professionals, volunteers and children, directed and acted in theater and worked on a variety of education-related activities, serving on various boards and committees in the community (Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Homeless and Travelers Aid, Religious Education and Vocational/Two Year College Education). I was recently on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Dealer Counsel, and was an active member of the Automotive Trade Association Executives, and a member of the Empire State Society of Association Executives.I also have experience in property management, having run a shopping mall for three years, sales and marketing (at a legal publisher), and general legal work. In this new chapter of my life, I founded a Democratic Club in my active adult community, which now has over 100 members, and started a community theater, which has had two successful productions so far, reaching an audience of 600 for each, and providing a new creative outlet for the residents.
