I lead the Kansas Lottery through RFP creation and system implementation . The Kansas Lottery Gaming System contract was ending in 2018 and needed to be replaced. Lottery Gaming Systems are complex systems that touch Lottery retailers, several outside entities and all departments in a Lottery with the objective to create revenue for state programs. I was responsible for requirements discovery and creation of the RFP to select a vendor to replace the existing gaming system. I led the Kansas Lottery through specifications review, vendor selection, and project management of system implementation.
