• Reporting to the Executive Director of the http://www.nationalgridfoundation.com, research, evaluate and help deliver robust grant awards for non-profit organizations across the National Grid service area that are aligned with the Foundation mission, contributing to the delivery of robust annual donations funded by the Foundation’s $35 million endowment. By working with these organizations, the Foundation aspires to bring about change that inspires people and transforms communities.• Work with local non-profit and community organizations to expedite and streamline grant proposals; assure alignment of scope, consistency and implementation of the grant proposal process• Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential, new and existing grant recipients• Conduct site visits at new and existing potential organizations the Foundation might support• Assure sound grant recommendations for the Foundation Executive Director, consistent with the Foundation’s mission• Prepare timely profiles and summaries for presentation to the National Grid Foundation Board of Directors• Help create, deliver and support programs, platforms, and events that create maximum visibility (internally and externally) for the Foundation • Serve as a Foundation spokesperson; serve as an external representative for grant-delivery events or other special events Serve as a volunteer member of the United Way of Central MA Community Investment Review team
