Delivered on-site client support to provide system overview and functional area training to Medicare contractor staff, created/updated training materials,

• Identified and defined detailed system requirements to improve and/or enhance the Multi-Carrier System (MCS) processing system. • Created and modified system documentation in relation to new and updated business requirements, created detailed test documents and performed system testing to ensure the system functioned properly so that the client’s needs were met. • Liaison between clients and the Medicare shared system maintainer to define business needs supporting the development of system modifications, including major system testing to validate product changes and system implementations.• Quickly became proficient with Medicaid processes to participate in the development and finalization of the Business Design and requirements for the ER&S Redesign and Balancing for the Health Insurance Portability And Accountability (HIPAA) Cash/Financial Initiative which included identifying the testing areas, creating testing estimates, detailed test plans and test cases as well as executing the testing. • Facilitated walkthroughs, presented business designs and testing results to both internal and external leadership and clients.• Effectively managed multiple tasks simultaneously and delivered high quality results within required deadlines.

• Successfully managed 70 employees, providing ongoing inventory management controls to maintain standards required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). • Participated in the proposed and planned strategic service initiatives designed to enhance operating efficiency, client service levels, claims processing and total quality and service improvements. • Evaluated client requests for system modifications and technical enhancements to the system to ensure all contractor performance standards, as defined by CMS were maintained. • Successfully managed the Y2K testing of the Medicare system for four test cycles.
