About Deborah Eade
I am a freelance writer, editor, and publishing adviser in the field of international development and humanitarianism. After working for 10 years with local and international agencies in Mexico and Central America, I became Editor-in-Chief of the new journal Development in Practice in 1991. I left in 2010 on completion of its 20th volume.I have published on a wide range of subjects, with a particular interest in the fields of conflict, feminism, rights, and communication in development. As an editor, I enjoy working with authors for whom English is not their first language.
