I left school at 15 in 1979 and started at the Sheffield & Ecclesall Cooperative as it was known then. I was recognised to train as a manager around 18 where I managed various stores. I left in 1988 to go and work in the hospital. I was made redundant after working there for a couple of years, the hospital closed its doors in 1994. I had my first child in 1990. Life was no easy ride due to certain paths I took. Lots say I should write a book and there is much deeper things that happened during this time. After my daughter was born I started a business with my daughter’s father and his friend. I sold on markets with designer Jean's, car boots with old household items and bric-a-brac. This was before I was left holding the baby lol and was robbed by the friend of precious bracelets that my late father had bought me and the bank was cleared out by him. I decided to do various courses; lots of courses as I love training.Woman into Management, Business Studies, Hair and Beauty, and many more. I was a mobile hairdresser and worked part time in a salon. I met my son's father in 1997. I had my son in 1999 bless him he was born with Cerebral Palsy and with that came other underlying health conditions; Autism, anxiety, OCD etc. Although the CP was only mild it still affected him in a lot of ways and still does. At this time I found a lump in my daughter’s throat she was then10. It was an abnormal lump which had to be removed she was so strong and brave. I was going through relationship issues as well.I worked at a factory again doing various things dare I say Union Rep and part of the European Works Council, Health & Safety Rep and A First Aid Rep as well has computer laser operative (Factory worker in short) . I left there to take care of my son and daughter until my son was going to nursery. I then again was a lone parent some men and some woman can't share with children’s needs and their wants. Then I started courses again Counselling Level 1, 2 and 3, Psychology level 3, ED Course, drugs awareness, Customer Services Level 3, Aromatherapy and Essential Oils, Life Coaching and more. I loved going to Wentworth to study. I am now working for Sheffield City Council and have been since 2009. Although I am at SCC I still enjoy training courses. I went to Malaysia and got married 2010 spontaneously (no one knew I had) that was one of my impulse moments and didn't last too long either. I have suffered with depression and anxiety for years where I decided to design a website to help others through difficult times.https://www.cloudedminds.org
