ST Magazine is a rebranding of Surplus Today to reflect our growth and sphere of influence to include many related industries: military surplus, tactical, workwear, outdoor, hardware, tools and hunting. We have streamlined our online and print image to better serve our wholesale and retail clients.

I have changed my profile photo to reflect my new career path. After many years as a university instructor, teaching writing, and editing thousands of papers, I decided to take on the challenge of starting a trade magazine, Surplus Today. For those who really know me, I take delight in the irony of my current photo. The symbolism of the new "hat" I wear is a statement of support to all the brave vets and those who currently serve in our armed forces. A challenge to start something totally new and use my passion for creativity and disseminating knowledge and information brings me great joy. My desire to be a compassionate mentor and leader keeps me motivated and looking forward to each new issue we produce. This caring attitude flows into my psychological counseling practice, which I continue to do. My advice to all of you in Linkedin land is to trust your instincts, take a risk and pursue your joy.
