I have been involved with the Marketing team at Costco Leicester since before we even opened the doors for business, working from day 1 to let the local Leicestershire community know about what Costco can offer them.My Primary role is to identify people and businesses that are eligible to be Costco Members, and then establish a strategy whereby I can arrange to meet them, deliver the benefits of Costco and sign them up.In order to deliver the Costco brand to as many potential… Show more I have been involved with the Marketing team at Costco Leicester since before we even opened the doors for business, working from day 1 to let the local Leicestershire community know about what Costco can offer them.My Primary role is to identify people and businesses that are eligible to be Costco Members, and then establish a strategy whereby I can arrange to meet them, deliver the benefits of Costco and sign them up.In order to deliver the Costco brand to as many potential members as possible, I actively engage in arranging on site presentations and both internal and external events, which can involve anything from a local Wedding Fayres to Community Events such as Tigers in The Park.After identifying suitable events I am actively engaged in negotiating everything from access to the events, through to the costs involved.But it doesn’t all stop there, after the negotiating and sign up’s are complete, it’s on to the most important job of all, building and maintaining long lasting relationships with all of my members and contacts.
