Currently winemaker and owner of Cougar Crest Estate Winery in Walla Walla, Washington. The winery was established in 2001 and currently occupies a 13,000 square foot facility on Highway 12 to the west of Walla Walla. Current wine production is 10,000 cases and is distributed nationwide and in Canada. Also owner of 125 acres of farmland in the Walla Walla Valley planted to 60 acres of wine grapes and 65 acres of apples. Husband and business partner David Hansen is a veterinarian and manages all the farming and winery engineering.College trained at Washington State University to be a pharmacist and graduated in 1979.
