In this role I was responsible for managing all aspects of Air, Water, Waste and Land compliance for multiple Sand and Gravel, Rock Quarries, Expanded Shale, and Asphalt Plants in Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Las Vegas, NV.I managed environmental management systems to ensure compliance with environmental permits and state and federal laws. I was responsible for training facility personnel on environmental compliance requirements and on how to use the environmental management systems in order to manage day to day regulatory compliance.

 Supervise the LDAR (Leak Detection & Repair) Program Coordinator who is responsible for managing the LDAR program for 2 large chemical manufacturing facilities in the Houston area Manage and maintain all environmental systems that support ongoing environmental compliance and data tracking for air, water and waste programs. This includes software programs like OPS Air as well as custom built SQL based solutions for data collection and compliance management. This also includes integrating data from SAP and OSI-PI as well as manual data from available plant resources. Responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting annual air emissions inventories, TRI and TIER II to the State of Texas and the US EPA Project Manager for complex environmental projects including updating and maintaining the plant Ops Air program, creating and implementing custom built solutions for environmental compliance and data management, and working directly with other Lubrizol facilities in the US on implementing and managing systems and data tracking for their plants.  Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure that all work is completed on time, on task, and on budget  Ongoing training with unit personnel on applicable environmental requirements to assist the plant in maintaining ongoing environmental compliance  Create, implement, train, and manage plant personnel on utilizing and maintaining environmental record keeping systems Always utilizing continuous improvement to evaluate and improve existing environmental systems.

 Responsible for responding to environmental events by making appropriate agency notifications and any required ongoing correspondence. This includes reporting to Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to provide support during emergency events, as necessary.  Worked with operations to ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal environmental requirements by performing daily reviews of operating data. Created a new internal Air Permitting Process that included detailed information tracking for each project, along with ongoing tracking capabilities to track submission, issuance, and compliance requirements before during and after start-up Evaluated and implemented a site wide netting program for two chemical batch plants in Houston ozone non-attainment area Provided environmental support to production units within the Texas plants including federal compliance management and reporting, air permitting management and support, spill prevention and response management, and other duties required to assist the plant in maintaining environmental compliance Member of Lubrizol Internal Audit Team that audits other U.S. Lubrizol facilities within the corporation for HSES compliance. Skilled permit negotiator – represented Lubrizol’s interests regarding 10 NSR permit reviews with the state of Texas Represented Lubrizol in 14 environmental compliance audits by the TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality)

 Provide project coordination between multiple ERM offices and practice areas in order to provide full project support and involvement for clients across the US Create, implement and manage air regulatory compliance management systems for chemical manufacturing facilities and oil and gas clients throughout Texas and other states throughout the US Implement and manage air permitting projects for chemical manufacturing, industrial, and oil and gas clients throughout the southern US Prepare Title V and NSR permits, renewals, amendments, and modifications for oil and gas, industrial, and chemical processing facilities in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, California, Nevada, and New England Prepare Permits by Rule (PBR) for oil and gas, industrial, and chemical processing facilities throughout Texas Assist companies with creating and implementing sustainability programs to help reduce corporate footprints to meet company goals Other tasks as needed to support the large international network of ERM offices

-Prepare Title V and NSR permits, renewals, amendments, and modifications for oil and gas, industrial, and chemical processing facilities in Texas and other states throughout the US.-Prepare PBR permits for oil and gas, industrial, and chemical processing facilities throughout Texas.-Conduct site investigations and develop and submit permits in regards to air quality compliance for public facilities within Clark County Nevada.-Complete field investigations and report preparation for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments within Clark County, NV.-Emission inventory development and support; experience with STEERS. -Tier II report development and submittal for Texas and Louisiana.-Other tasks as needed to support the large national network of TRC offices.

-Managed and developed Clark County Air Quality Regulations and managed the Clean Air Act Regulations as set forth by the state of Nevada and the Environmental Protection Agency in a classified Serious Non-Attainment Area(EPA)-Responsible for the development and management of the PM10 State Implementation Plan and the PM10 Maintenance Plan in a serious non-attainment area-Project management for multiple projects including all related tasks, i.e. oversight of contracts, request for proposal process, project scope of work, budget development and payment oversight, review and approval of final report-Developed and implemented a streamlined process for developing a more efficient and accurate emissions inventory for all PM10 construction emissions-Managed a project for developing new technologies for collecting paved road dust emission inventories-Worked with EPA Region 9, OAQPS (Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards), state and local decision makers, and the public to improve southern Nevada’s understanding and protection of air quality-Completed Emissions inventory development on a local and regional level; responsible for compiling all relevant documentation and creating emissions inventories -Worked with a team of two planners to manage the County’s stake in PM10 and PM2.5 air quality management

-Completed and processed all permits to appropriate County and City agencies for Vapor Extraction Equipment and all associated processes and procedures(i.e.: Plan Check, Building Permits, Encroachment Permits, etc.) -Conducted well installation and completed in the field soil boring logs, and prepared graphical soil boring logs using Microsoft Excel-Performed field tests including water and soil sampling, vapor extraction pilot tests, dual phase extraction, groundwater pumping tests, and vapor extraction system installation (water and soil remediation)-Performed construction management for remediation system installations and completed field tests in regards to system installation (i.e. piping pressure testing and equipment start-up testing)-Responsible for field work and reporting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments-Prepared all appropriate documents for preparation of field work including health and safety plans -Project management responsibilities included report preparation, data compilation and interpretation, groundwater concentration maps generation, building operational tables for periodic groundwater monitoring reports, and remediation system operations and maintenance reports-Completed 40 Hr HAZWOPER certification in 2005

-Researched several projects dealing with Mixed Low Level Waste at DOE sites across the country, primarily at the Nevada Test Site(NTS)-Conducted specific research regarding the Mixed Low Level waste storage tanks at the NTS; completed senior thesis on this issue-Researched specific landfill designs in regards to Mixed Low Level waste long term storage and all laws and regulations associated with the project including RCRA and CERCLA
