For over 35 years, I helped small and large organizations in almost every sector make the necessary changes and connections to be competitive in today's market. My experience made it possible to see the breadth and depth of organizations in new ways and to help clients see new possibilities. It is important to me that people are successful in their work, can make a difference and see goals and dreams achieved. I enjoy supporting new ideas and helping create change that brings new energy and profitability to an enterprise. My focus has been on strategic and operational issues that confront leaders in competitive environments in both for profit and not-for-profit organizations. This work has created opportunities to illuminate complex situations, generate and implement pragmatic organizational change strategies in partnership with senior executives in both the for-profit and non-profit world. My interests include strategy, leadership, change, group dynamics and facilitation of small and large groups at all levels of organizations.

Sample EngagementsRedesigned the Human Resource function to be consultative rather than solely transactional. Engaged all HR professionals in the process to identify business leaders’ needs and to organize in order to meet those needs. Designed an implementation process that honored skills and talents, created professional development opportunities where needed and had no layoffs.Designed and supported a major strategic plan for a college that included over 1,000 stakeholders over a 10 month period. Used multiple methods to gather data and analyze results. Designed feedback and discussion sessions for board, faculty, students, community supporters, etc. Provided a forum and opportunity to re-think values and beliefs in order to make the necessary changes for the school to flourish. .Created, facilitated and supported a cross company team representing product development and marketing functions from all areas of the business to create a product development process for all to use. Increased sales and customer satisfaction scores.Facilitated a multidisciplinary group of 200+ professionals over several years to work through differences in approaches and come together across disciplines to create the first national quality standards for palliative care. Designed and facilitated a multi-disciplinary process to create a strategic plan for a major teaching hospital to address community needs and to plan for ways to address them.Designed and implemented a hospital wide quality improvement process providing strategy and training in QI/CQI methodologies and team work resulting in increased efficiency and effectiveness and decreases of expenses.
