International NGO specializing in media for social change. 2018 NOBEL PEACE PRIZE NOMINEEDevelops and implements television, radio series and outreach projects aimed at mitigation of conflict. Designs programs, manages logistics, contracts, budgets, 200 + local production crews in 20 countries. Project requires 80% international travel to conflict/post-conflict countries. Projects use soft power to promote social cohesion, democracy, good governance, conflict mitigation, rule of law, human rights and women’s empowerment. • Current: Executive Producer of "Madam President" (Middle East) "Singha Durbar" (Nepal) television series that features a woman as head of state. • Executive Producer of “The Team,” a TV and radio series produced in 16 violence-prone countries on three continents: Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Nepal, Pakistan, Ethiopia, DR Congo, Angola, Indonesia, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Yemen. A major objective of this project is to develop the capacity of civil society organizations to use media as a tool for transforming conflict. This includes hiring of local staff and partners and skill building in how to organize work, manage budgets and to create short and long-term strategies to achieve goals. • Creates and manages peace building programs complimentary to the TV series including creating multiple radio series in vernacular languages of Kenya; mobile cinema and dialogue projects in violence prone areas in Kenya. Currently developing new projects in Myanmar, Yemen, Indonesia, Burkina Faso, Niger and Jordan that use the same model. • Demonstrated success at writing proposals for USAID, EU, PACT, USIP, UKAID (DFID) • Effectively manages multi-million dollar grants and donor relations from USAID, EU, UKAID, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, USIP and the MacArthur Foundation.

• Executive Producer, National radio talk show: Pacifica Radio KPFK and PEN USAClear and Present Danger: Exploring the Challenges of Free Expression in an Open Society. Developed concept, identified guests, managed the production from budgeting, studio time, editing, to delivery. Implemented the budgeted activities and in charge of time management for all technical activities including set construction, technical set up in studio or on location. Implemented various union and non-union contracts, handled labor disputes and cost overruns. Managed the operational budget for each television project.
