I am a graduate of Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and I am continuing my training to become a certified practitioner of psychodrama. sociodrama and group psychotherapy. I currently work for Creative Health Services in the S.A.F.E. program as a facilitator of the Batterer Intervention groups and at Crozer Recovery Center I work with outpatient drug and alcohol groups and individuals including dually diagnosed clients. As an intern at Crozer Recovery Center I conducted research to evaluate psychodramatic and sociodramatic interventions with intensive outpatient D&A clients. As an intern at Laurel House in Norristown I worked with victims of domestic violence and completed an extensive literature review of domestic violence and trauma; facilitated focus groups with Montgomey County Mental Health Professionals and created the outline for what is now a CEU accredited, day long workshop on trauma and domestic violence. Previous to my social work career I have been an operatic stage director in Europe and the United States for 30 years; been on the faculty of Temple University in Philadelphia and The New School: Mannes College of Music in NYC; facilitated social theater performances with an intergenerational, improvisational theater troupe; and worked with older adults in creating and performing their original works.
