Duties include running all aspects of the Health Information Dept. (Medical Records) Admissions, discharges, QA, accurate data input, audits, tracking of M.D. visitations, filing, Medicare certifications / documentation. Set up electronic medical records system. Tracking of information and reports of different types to forward to corporate office. Letter of recognition from our Corporate Medicare liaison, for office and medical charts being organized, and well managed. Maintained a citation free department for State Surveys.

Responsible for the day to day operation of the department. Clinic had 36 full-time physicians as well as 4 ARNP's, and 4 specialist that came to the clinic to see patients. Managed 5 transcriptionist, 5 clerks, and the PBX operator. In-service and training of multiple disciplines.

Recruited to open a new 164 bed facility. Duties included supervision of two ward secretaries, and a clerk. QA committee chairman. Input of data (daily MD orders, Care Plans, and the MDS) Patient incident report analysis. Tracking of physician documentation and visits. Audits of various types. Awarded recognition from the President of the Company on a job well done in the opening of a new Skilled Nursing Facility as well as a very organized department.
