I teach the following 100- and 200-level college classes: Business English, Business Communications, Career Management, Business Presentations, PC Basics, Essay/Grammar Review, Reading/Writing College Prep, Job Development, Introduction to College Writing, and Career/College Success.In 2014 I wrote the free, open source grammar textbook that is used in Business English as well as the PowerPoints that accompany the textbook. In 2014 I created an interdepartmental Canvas page to house grammar resources from the BSTEC, EAP, English, and English Prep departments all in one place. Other colleges and universities have added grammar content as well. In 2015 I presented at EdCC's Building Community Day about the importance and benefits of using open source textbooks in our college classrooms. In 2016 I presented at EdCC's Building Community Day about the importance of organizing our Canvas classrooms for optimum student comprehension.In April 2016 I started writing the social media marketing content for the BSTEC department's Facebook page and LinkedIn group. In 2018 I presented at EdCC's Building Community Day about dynamic lecturing. 2020-2021: Job Development Department Head. Developed the College and Career Success course for the business division, which degree-seeking students in the business division will take in their first 1-2 quarters.
