After a rich and rewarding career in Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education and general Early Childhood Education, I have pursued a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. I've completed my practicum and Internship 1 at Concordia University Nebraska in Seward with training emphasis in CBT, ACT, Anxiety and Adjustment Disorders, response to Suicidal Ideation and Grief counseling, as well as a DBT-informed training. Internship 2 provided trauma-informed play therapy, training with TF-CBT, Trust Based Relation Intervention and social-emotional-behavioral interventions provided to early childhood and elementary-age populations.
