I was appointed CEO of the Australian Disputes Centre in 2013. ADC is an independent, not-for-profit company that works to help businesses, government instrumentalities and communities thrive, by accessing world-class conflict management skills and dispute resolution processes. Prior to joining the not-for-profit sector, I worked for over 20 years as an executive, consultant and expert to a range ASX 100 and Fortune 500 corporations as a change agent and dispute resolution specialist, primarily focussed in the financial services sector. My background is in law and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. I first trained as a mediator with Harvard Law School in the early 1990’s, gained accreditation as an Advanced Mediator with the Australian Disputes Centre in 2009 and am a Nationally Accredited Mediator in Australia.I lead the Australian Disputes Centre’s international training faculty and speak regularly on the commercial and personal benefits of upskilling to resolve conflict and disputes using timely, cost-efficient, and private dispute resolution processes.I am a founding member of the Council for Australian Dispute Resolution and an Editorial Panel Member for the LexisNexis Australian Dispute Resolution Bulletin.
