I provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy to teens and adults. I prefer an integrative approach utilizing short-term psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-specific therapies like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I have significant experience in working with eating disorders and trauma, as well as significant experience working both with college students and with active duty military members. I have given many presentations on the topics of eating disorders and trauma and have experience supervising students and psychiatry residents. I have also assisted in training other clinicians in Accelerated Resolution Therapy locally. An additional topic of interest is the national crisis of burnout among medical staff. I have been an advocate for decreasing clinician burnout. and have proposed and implemented methods of addressing this issue at an institutional level.
