About Deborah Marks
Fully licensed Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and Couples Therapist. I work with adults, parents and young people (over 18) to help with a range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety, eating disorders, work and relationship difficulties, low self esteem, self-harm, addictions and depression. I am a member of the British Council of Psychoanalytic.I offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists.I have taught psychoanalysis at Masters and Doctoral level and on a range of clinical trainings. I teach on a clinical training in Organisational Psychotherapy under the auspices of APPCIOS, and have set up a contemporary Psychodynamic Psychotherapy training leading to BCP membership. I have published scholarly papers on disability, gender and psychotherapy in a range of peer reviewed Journals and a book on disability.
