I have a general psychotherapy practice treating individuals, couples and families with a host of emotional and relationship issues. Throughout the years, I have treated children who were victims of sexual abuse, adolescents who were both sexually reactive and abusive and adult survivors of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. My practice expanded to include evaluating and treating individuals who suffer with PTSD from a variety of negative life circumstances. I am certified in EMDR and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I am currently forming consultation groups for clinicians interested in deepening their understanding of EMDR. I also have conducted training for other clinicians and community members in the area of trauma. I have provided individual and group consultation to mental health providers and agencies. I have also facilitated Level I and Level II EMDR trainings for the Greater Washington EMDR Institute.

I was a consultant to a residential treatment program for emotionally disturbed children. I ran a clinical supervision group for clinicians and conducted evaluations for sexually reactive and abusive adolescents.

I was a consultant to a residential treatment program for emotionally disturbed adolescent boys. I provided individual and group consultation to the clinicians, psychiatric and child care staff. The consultation included conducting evaluations of teenage male clients referred for sexually assaultive and sexually reactive behavior, collaborating with the psychiatric team regarding clinical recommendations, placement issues and risk assessment.

I evaluated adjudicated and non-adjudicated offenders and their families for the Baltimore County Juvenile Court and other countywide agencies. I conducted trainings for other professionals.Child Therapist- I provided individual and family therapy to children ages 3-12 who had been sexually abused. I worked with a team of clinicians in designing and implementing a sexual abuse treatment program for child victims, offenders and family members. I provided crisis intervention, individual and family therapy and was the court liaison for the juvenile court. I also appeared as an expert witness in child sexual abuse cases.In addition, I managed an active general caseload and provided crisis intervention, individual and marital therapy to violent families. I acted as a court advocate for battered women and co-led a men's group. I was a participant in a task force for the creation of a County Women's Commission.
