• DBT is recognized as a best practice for treating self-harm and/or suicidal behaviors and has been adapted for patients with substance abuse disorders; patients with eating disorders; depressed senior citizens; adults.
• The training consist of six (6) 2 ½ hour sessions scheduled once per week for six consecutive weeks.
• The training format is 50% lecture and 50% skills review and practice.
• Participants will receive training in four skills modules: Core Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation and Distress Tolerance.
