In this capacity, Deborah oversaw all of the Authority’s real estate development projects. Working with developer partners, equity investors, debt providers, and resident organizations, she oversaw close to $1 billion in public housing redevelopment projects. Prior to joining the BHA, Deborah was a Senior Associate at Abt Associates, a large public policy consulting firm located in Cambridge. At Abt, Deborah provided technical assistance to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and several public housing authorities in planning and implementing complex neighborhood-wide revitalization plans.
