Primary Scope of Position - open and manage Lake Tahoe location for Alder & Tweed- Home Outfitters. Alder and Tweed is based in Park City, Utah specializing in resort communities and vacation home design. Responsibilities involve networking with realtors, developers, builders and clients to grow revenue in the Tahoe market. Additional responsibilities include day to day operations, planning and buildout of Truckee Design Center which include hiring and assisting in the training and development of design staff.

Responsible for initial greeting of clients upon visiting furniture showroom. Help clients with furnishings & accessory selections based on personal preferences. Conduct in home visits with clients for the purpose of assisting with space planning, furniture and accessory selections. Other responsibilities - visual merchandising of showroom floors, assist with product selection and purchase. Assist with product development.

Design Manager - Managed staff of 12 Designers in development of new product prototypes including complete specifications and material samples sent to overseas factories for production.Trade Show Manager - Responsible for operations of 28 shows per year. Assisted in the acquisition and buildout of permanent showroom at the Atlanta AmericasMart.Senior Account Executive - Responsible for client base of 500 accounts. Responsibilities - cold call new accounts, set up initial meetings with potential clients and present proposals focused on specific product development. Maintain and grow existing accounts through the development of new product lines.
