Deborah Pascal is the Senior Program Analyst in the Midwest Regional Office of the Women’s Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor. In over 17 years with the Women’s Bureau, she has managed programs and worked with service providers and other organizations to provide education and support on a variety of issues including women veterans and trauma-informed care; equal pay; higher paying jobs, STEM careers and non-traditional occupations for women; workplace flexibility; and financial literacy. Deborah came to the Women's Bureau with a long history of community and legislative services for women and minorities in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. Her legislative experience spans from civil rights and constitutional issues at the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution. Upon returning to Chicago, Deborah joined the office of Senator Paul Simon as a caseworker providing constituent services and progressing to Deputy Director of the office. Prior to joining the Women’s Bureau, Deborah worked at the Illinois Institute of Technology, a pre-eminent university for science and technology, and La Rabida Children's Hospital and Research Center. She graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Political Science.
