My responsibilities included:Purchase ledger control which included reconciling invoices and supplier statements, preparing BACS payments and making direct payments through the bank.Resolved complex invoice reconciliation issues by demonstrating logical, methodical skills and initiating effective communication with suppliers and colleagues.Verified staff expense claims processed by HR for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures, prior to submission to the payroll provider. Assisted with month end tasks including reconciliation and analysis of staff expenses, travel and subsistence, preparing and posting journals and collating data for management information.Controlled and reconciled f NEST corporate credit card spend and preparing journals to allocate costs to correct nominal codes/cost centres.
