I have built the Operations Department into a team of 20 people as well as the products now covered by the Operations Department. These include FX, L&D, Bonds, FRNs, Derivatives, Commodities, Syndicated and Bilateral Loans, CDs, CPs, RMB and GBP Clearing and Trade Finance Products. In addition to the day to day processing of transactions I am also responsible for data quality within the organisation, external and internal reconciliations, liquidity management including cashflow forecasts and the monitoring of intraday positions and I also manage the financial crime team.

I was responsible for the development of the Institutional Trading Platform. This platform is used by Pershing to provide outsourcing for both clearing and settlement to the broker/dealer community and small Investment banks.

I managed a team of 21, including 6 managers reporting directly to the COO which incorporated all aspects of Settlements for all products: OTC and exchange traded derivatives, government, corporate and convertible bonds, equities, treasury products; FX and L&D, financing products; repos and stock borrows/lends, nostro and depot reconciliations, collateral management and management reporting.
