I am a Partner in Irwin Mitchell’s Bristol and Cardiff Serious Injury team.I specialise in high end personal injury claims - particularly brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputation cases. I also have experience of chronic pain cases. The main focus for me in these claims is access to early, quality rehabilitation. The earlier someone in is receipt of specialist rehabilitation for their injuries, the better recovery they are likely to make. I am often instructed by clients shortly after the accident has happened and work proactively to ensure their case hits the ground running with a view to obtaining early interim payments and minimising the pressures both the Claimant and their family find themselves under. However, I also do a lot of takeover work where clients are not happy with their current solicitors – this can be several years after the accident has occurred. As well as my case work, I am heavily involved in the regional Corporate Social Responsibility programme which encompasses, amongst other things, work focussed on charity, volunteering, social mobility, diversity and equality and the environment. Irwin Mitchell has a strong commitment to CSR which I am pleased to be a part of. Outside of work, I spend time with my husband and two young children. We enjoy being outside - bike rides, walks and days out. I am also a massive rugby fan (watching not playing!) and try to watch as much a I can.
