Specialties: My practice focuses on areas dealing with the elderly such as medicaid issues, advanced directives, guardianships and long-term care planning. Additionally, my practice encompasses matters involving disabled family members (non education issues), such as guardianship and supplemental needs trusts. I also concentrate in trust and estate planning, as well as estate administration.2017 was a particularly enriching year. I had the opportunity to co-chair the Elder Law and Special Needs Summer Program held in Lake Placid, NY. At the Fall Meeting in Tarrytown, NY, I co-presented a discussion on Post Guardianship Remedies for Financial Exploitation. Heading into the winter, I co-authored an article for the Elder Law and Special Needs Journal. The topic was predatory or secret marriages involving vulnerable older adults.
