Return to work coordinator for major nationwide airline and major nationwide retailer. Assist with transitional modified duty placement of employees on light duty due to an on-the-job injury. Coordinate communication between supervisors, third party administrators, employees, and non-profits. Create modified duty job offer letters. Work with provider offices to obtain work restrictions and make them aware of light duty possibilities for employees. Start to finish set up of transitional duty with outside non-profit groups, including recruiting non-profits and writing detailed task analysis for modified duty work. Write and update Labor Market Surveys.

Management of workers' compensation claim case load of time loss and complex time loss claims; approval and payment of medical invoices related to medical treatment for the injured workers; calculation and payment of wage replacement for injured workers unable to work due to injury; successful settlement of multiple complex workers' compensation cases; work closely with internal customers, i.e. managers and supervisors, providing customer service in a consultative role; assist and advise co-workers with issues and questions on their respective cases; working with outside customers and vendors to assist with case management, obtaining and reviewing medical records from internal and external sources to help resolve medical issues; work to ensure efficient and timely application of benefits to employee customers; working with providers, managers, HR, and employees to successful resolve workers' compensation claims.
