Deborah Simonson M.S., Senior Human Resource Development Specialist. Deb holds a B.S. in Management Science from SUNY Geneseo and has a Masters of Science Degree in Human Resources Development from St. John Fisher College. In 2007, Deb joined LenelS2 as the Senior HR Development Specialist in Rochester, NY. Currently, she became the Learning Experience Manager for the technical product training team supporting the certification of customers using the LenelS2 product portfolio. Prior to this role, she was the Director of Training & Development on the Human Resources Shared Services Team for the Al Sigl Center. She has over twenty years experience training, presenting, coaching and managing learning programs in the profit and nonprofit sector. During her career, she has had roles as an operations manager at Xerox Corporation, a human resource generalist for Questra Corporation and Continuing Education Program Manager for Rochester Hearing & Speech Center. She has also engaged in consultancy work through her previous private practice, Deb Simonson Development Solutions (dsds) in the areas of leadership and management development . This varied experience enables Deb to draw upon her practical knowledge of managing and educating employees to help leaders, managers and employees enhance their work practices, competencies and communication throughout the organization. She is a Certified Advanced Practitioner for the Six Seconds Consultant Network (San Mateo, CA) specializing in Emotional Intelligence training, coaching and assessment administration. Deb strives to engage in a wide variety of life experiences to broaden her perspectives and add to her knowledge of human experience. Her work in the community includes Junior Achievement Volunteer, Habitat for Humanity Volunteer and Leadership Rochester Alumni network and member and President of the Board of the Friends of the Rochester Public Market Board of Directors.
