Since its first concert in 2015, co-founded by Sam Hyken and Jacomo Bairos, Nu Deco has exploded on the Miami music scene, showing what an orchestra of the 21st century can do, continually selling out with new younger and diverse audiences and collaborating with both grammy award winning and rising artists. See live concerts and recordings with Robert Glasper, Masego, Bilal, Larkin Poe, PJ Morton, Jacob Collier, Anjelique Kidjo, Cimafunk, Kishi Bashi , Wyclef Jean among many others. Nu Deco annually reaches 10,000 students with education and access initiatives in and outside of schools, and 20,000 digitally. Nu Deco's youth orchestra NXT modeled after Nu Deco is fast gaining attention in it's fourth live season. Nu Deco is out on Spotify, Apple Music and all major platforms. Nu Deco seeks to impact the community in a broad, sophisticated and lasting way, and to represent Miami on the world stage.

Held various positions in the 2008 and 2012 Obama campaigns, working on the Political team from Chicago HQ in 2008 and 2012 and in Voter Protection from Florida HQ in 2012.In 2012 was Director of Voter Protection Recruitment for FL. The effort recruited and placed an unprecedented 4000+ in-state and over 1,000 out-of-state attorneys to monitor the Election. In 2008 worked throughout in the National Delegate Operation, coordinating various aspects of the historically significant effort to secure the nomination; coordinated the Democratic Party Platform initiative, which resulted in 1,600 platform meetings across all 50 states; documented the initiative in the key battlegrounds in a video shown at the Dem National convention; was an Adviser to S. FL on early vote and GOTV in the General Election. Earlier coordinated the petitioning operation for NY State to qualify then Senator Obama for the Election ballot. In 2008 was also an elected Delegate and Vice Chair of the NY State delegation to the National Convention, and appointed by the Obama campaign as an Elector and Officer in the 2008 Electoral College.

Founded, operated for 17 years and sold The Conference Group, Ltd. to Highline Media/Summit Business Media, backed by private equity firm Spire Capital in April 2006. Consulted through the transition till April 2007. Had separate multi-year agreements with Swiss Re Group's private equity division and OIL Group of Companies, which were not part of the sale. Had a separate consulting agreement with Highline Media during the transition, which also was not part of the Conference Group, Ltd. purchase agreement. The Conference Group Ltd. disrupted the conference industry at the time with the only high-end invitation-only executive conferences for the financial services industry and was also recognized for one bi-annual global conference for the energy industry. Speakers, as well as audiences, were the Chairmen and CEOs and other senior management from the major global financial companies, industry association presidents, members of Congress and other noteworthy speakers. The most well-known programs were the annuals for the insurance industry, which when sold were in their 19th and 20th years (programs planned in advance). The global energy conference took place in Mexico for CFOs from all of the major energy companies world-wide. The Conference Group was sole owner of the conferences, recruited all speakers, wrote the programs, handled all marketing, logistics and ran the conferences. Sponsors of the annual programs included PwC, Standard & Poor's, Swiss Re Group, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, LeBoeuf Lamb, Ernst & Young.
