Responsible for the performance of the career services department of the Grand Rapids campus. After promotion, also assumed responsibility for six additional campuses covering four states. Accountable for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance management and productivity assessments of staff. In addition, responsible for obtaining respectable placement statistics for the graduates, fostering relationships with employers, developing career fairs, delivering employability seminars, as well hosting advisory board meetings, open houses and graduations. Responsibilities also include: training, development of staff, assisting with campus visits and training for other divisions, including upcoming directors and presidents training, as well as, collaborating on special projects. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding and developing staff. Provided training to teachers, administration staff, as well as additional centers in Michigan. Responsible for continual involvement with parents, students and teachers and leading a successful, profitable center.

Worked with clients in regards to their investigative needs. Provided various investigative services, training and consulting services. Represented Huffmaster in various trade shows and speaking engagements. Developed and maintained sales and service territory in western Michigan.

Successfully handled litigated and high exposure workers compensation cases for a large client. Provided claims investigations, settlement negotiations and loss control advice to client. Managed litigation fees, provided claims handling advice, recommended independent medical examinations and actively participated in client file reviews on behalf of a third party administrator.

Promoted to Development/Learning Consultant. Responsibilities included developing, maintaining, and promoting the company wide training program, anticipating and defining present and future technical training needs, acting as a technical training consultant for the claims staff, and facilitated and coordinated technical educational projects.Promoted to Workers Compensation Supervisor. Supervised nine employees in the workers’ compensation department, six technical employees and three assistants. Responsible for the overall claims handling function. Assumed the training responsibilities for the office, reinsurance reporting, management quarterly status reporting, hiring and work flow control.Promoted to Casualty Claims Supervisor. Supervised five adjusters in the general liability department. Responsible for the overall claims handling in the department, including training, handling personnel issues, maintaining and building working relationships along with work flow control.Multi-Line Adjuster with Risk Enterprise Management. Worked with the injured to place them in the same position as they were before the incident on all aspects of liability claims. Utilized interviewing and negotiating skills to aid in investigations.
