Fidelity bank - Worked on a specific market data desktop terminal displacement project which was very successful. The project involved conducting multiple interviews with employees using market data services to understand their individual roles and daily requirements for market data. All of the feedback from the interviews was documented and categorised. This culminated in the roll out of an alternative more cost effective option from another vendor on a trial basis. In many cases the alternative vendor's offering was received positively and many made the permanent transition to the alternative saving the organisation a significant amount of their budget for the following years.

Standard Chartered Bank, London. - I have just completed a 3 year assignment with Standard Chartered Bank in London arranged by Hatstand Ltd. now part of the Synechron Group. The project was initially Prime Terminal Optimisation followed by 6 months of general BAU Business Analysis working for the Market Data teams based in Asia. Tasks included:- Desk profiling to ascertain which prime market data services were applicable to each business asset group within the organisation.- Interviewing and surveying end users of prime desktop services gathering information on daily workflow and market data requirements.- Documenting feedback in central data base.- Making informed decisions on which market data services would provide 'best fit' whilst leveraging contracts already in place with vendors all with the objective of reducing costs. - Working with third party vendors forming good working relationships with them in order to facilitate the transitioning of services where appropriate.- Achieving targets therefore realising significant cost saves.- 6 months working as a Business Analyst including general B.A.U. plus introducing new daily/monthly workflow processes and ideas ahead of the hiring of two permanent B.A's.- Taking a short break now while I move house before considering my next assignment.

UBS London - Worked on a strategic market data initiative sponsored by the UBS Business and Market Data team. This was an assignment negotiated by Hatstand Consultancy Agency.
