Force HR Lead for Wellbeing, Engagement, Inclusion providing specialist support in the delivery of the people strategy and people delivery plans to enable the Constabulary to achieve its strategic objectives.Responsible for driving forward national wellbeing initiatives in line with College of Policing, Oscar Kilo and the OK National Police Wellbeing Service to ensure the health and wellbeing of police officers and staff in effective front line delivery. Equality, Diversity, Inclusion lead working at a strategic level to embed an inclusive culture for officers and staff across the force. Responsible for completion of HMIC DEI Toolkit, PEEL DEI and Wellbeing content ensuring compliance against required actions.Working with senior management teams to raise wellbeing and mental health awareness through specific wellbeing projects. Leading consultation /negotiations with staff associations (Unison, Police Federation, Police Superintendent’s Association of England and Wales) as appropriate.Acting as HR lead wellbeing and Inclusion at force silver group meetings, force steering groups and project teams, promoting best practice and sound innovation in dealing with the health and wellbeing and DEI agenda. Ensuring the code of ethics and all relevant legislative requirements, including those relating to diversity, sexual orientation, disability and age are embedded in the development of project and policy work and in all the advice provided to line managers and others.Woking collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enable the successful implementation of wellbeing and DEI programmes of work, including extended support systems that cover all aspects of wellbeing and inclusion to support established working practices and behaviours. This includes upskilling line managers on the application and delivery of Force policies and procedures.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer I lead the delivery of the HR Strategy aligned to the University's 5 year plan and organisational values. Providing effective leadership and management of the HR Business Partner function aligned to a portfolio of Schools and Services. Enabling cultural change through the creation of a modern approach to the delivery of human resources and oganisational development, moving from transactional to transformational service, through the implementation of an effective business partner model aligned to a portfolio of Schools and Services.Streamlined HR&OD processes through the creation of a `HR Connected' webpage containing digital resources for managers and employees. A`Manager Essential Toolkit' providing on line guidance for a managers including, tutorials and guidance on the application of policies and procedures.

Provision of specialist HR advice to support the delivery of the strategic aims and vision of the Trust and alignment with operational requirement within each division.Change managementTUPECompile and present workforce MI informaiton to division board on HR Key Performance Indicators, incuding workforce planning, turnover, appraisal, absence and mandatory training.Policy development and compliance.
