Responsible for all aspects of the Retirement Home including admissions, staffing, relationships with community partners including physicians and families, compliance with all legislation including Retirement Home Act, Landlord and Tenant Act, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, all training of staff, budget control etc.

Responsible for the supportive services department. Ensure the community support services department meets all standards for resident care as per the Retirement Home Act. Final approval for resident admissions based on functional assessments. Responsible for all supportive services staff performance.
