Responsible for assessing business requirements and the Health Information Exchange system design to develop functional specifications to support the development and operation of the department’s HIE. Working closely with external and internal stakeholders to identify, understand, and document new and emerging functional requirements so that HIE meets business, legal, policy and clinical needs. Liaising between these stakeholders and the HIE project delivery team on functional requirements processes.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the EMRCH Project Manager in the successful implementation of the EMRCH project within the Gippsland Health Alliance.This will involve• Providing an executive officer function to the EMRCH Advisory groups• Assisting in the development of the EMRCH RFT documentation• Coordination and facilitation of Advisory Group Meetings including preparation of agenda and taking and review of minutes• Assisting in the implementation planning study including the development of the project plan• Assessment and documentation of existing and future clinical work flows• Development of change management elements to contribute to the change management plan• Overseeing the implementation of the change management plan• Coordination and facilitation of training and workshops• Extensive site visits to provide end user support• Attaining a detailed knowledge on the EMRCH solution• Provision 1st and 2nd level EMRCH application support to system users

This role involves implementation and ongoing support of the GHA Clinical Systems to member hospitals of the GHA.Including:Incident and service request resolutionTraining and on-site supportUser account creation, maintenance and deletionSystem Patching, System upgrades and modificationsAdvisory group executive (arrange meetings, undertake actions)Application specific advice to managementIdentify innovative and best practice using the application.Develop and implement an appropriate implementation plans and change management plans for system implementationsCoordinate with GHA agencies to ensure that planned activities are completed on schedule.Log and manage project issues in a timely manner.Escalate problems as requiredDevelop in depth knowledge of system administration and functionality to facilitate ongoing supportAssist with system testing pre and post implementationDeliver initial and maintenance training to system users using flexible methodology to meet user requirements and limitationsProduce training materials and aids to complement and maximise training efficacyProject Administration including internal reporting and issue management.

Provide Business Intelligence (BI) support including strategic input, administration and development. This includes:User support including issue management and resolution, training development and delivery as requiredManaging the development/testing of new functionality, reports, interfaces, tables, screen Changing and optimising existing applications, develop recommendations and identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processesTesting all development and configuration change in the Development & Test Systems and implement them in the Production system Support the development and delivery of training materials for both BI and other functional areas, this includes:Providing direct support and assistance to SAP usersUpdating SAP configuration as required to resolve issues raised as helpdesk requests.Effectively communicating BI and other systems changes including enhancements and maintenance to the system
