In my role as Senior Analyst: I led Import/Export/Domestic Transportation RFP, Negotiations and Vendor Best Carrier-Best Rate Routing Implementation Programs. I highlighted requirements, risks, planned projects, tracked tasks, carried weekly status meetings, developed executive level presentations, and developed the communications strategy. I managed the entire annual transportation spend of more than $30m. I worked with internal/external groups, including Warehouse, 3PL, Operations Planning, Production, Customer Facing Supply Chain stakeholders, Engineers, Finance, Risk Management, and Order Revenue Management. I functioned with Procurement Team to ensure fulfillment process as well as provided INCOTERMS 2010 support and conducted trainings to procurement management, buyers, and planners. Key Achievements Include: • Facilitated global Logistics and Audit Freight Pay migration for all Varian Business Units. Won Change Champion Award for outstanding project execution. • Achieved $5m in transportation cost savings by leading efforts to support logistics compliance management for import/export/domestic shipments ensuring an efficient and smoothly functioning global logistics and trade management network. • Ensured appropriate operational and supply chain processes by conducting internal audits.
