Legal Practice Assistant - Retired
Provide general administrative support to five principals and one associate, including heavy calendar management; review/revise billing entries prior to invoicing; document revision (minutes, operating agreements, management agreements, asset purchase agreements, name change filings, change of ownership, affiliation agreements, etc.); e-filings; conflicts checks, engagement letters and file openings; expense submissions/reimbursements; travel arrangements; administrative filings and document production. Also provide on demand short notice assistance to the department.Key Assignments:• Prepare responses to auditor requests• Work with associate to build healthcare group resources site• Annual registration of firm-sponsored hospital foundation events• Register attorneys for CLE conferences• Track Rewards, Memberships, Dues
