Manage company's insurance and entity compliance program

Manage and provide ongoing development to a team of 5-6 loan closers and a booker. Responsible for managing the pipeline for the Florida region in conjunction with Sales and Underwriting partners. Review and assign incoming files to closer based on capacity and knowledge; address any initial system set up/approval discrepancies; ensure Cornerstone and Flood approvals requests are in process and eventually cleared. Provide hands-on assistance to loan closers as all deals have their own nuances and must be documented accordingly. Review compiled loan package for accuracy, compliance and risk factors. Provide weekly projections; prepare and close loans as well during high volume periods. Interact with all members of leadership in SBA lending as necessary. Participated in several HUB-wide initiatives to address culture, changes to leadership, focus on a customer centric environment and other items brought to light by HUB members as well as annual sales and planning sessions.Position eliminated.

Review, understand and negotiate loan documentation prepared through external counsel identifying legal and intercreditor risk in credit agreement and related documents when Wells Fargo is the Administrative Agent; ensure documents are consistent with CRE policies; mitigate risk through negotiating loan terms based on Wells Fargo internal policy and syndicated market standards. Obtain approvals as required. Work with Real Estate Syndicated Finance and Agency Monitoring Group to ensure the role as Administrative Agent is fulfilled according to the loan documents. Participate in review, negotiating and managing risk when Wells Fargo is a Member Bank. Provide timely comments and quality customer service. Previously managed syndicated CRE ORE asset sales with Owners (formerly Lenders) ensuring Post-Foreclosure agreements adhered to and maximum dollars achieved on collateral.

Numerous promotions during 19-year tenure culminating in responsibility for managing post-closing documentation team, credit file function/file room maintenance in multiple sites. Ensured a perfected security interest in collateral by way of UCC’s/insurance/ negotiable collateral in coordination with a partnership between team/business unit/closing attorneys. Left role due to displacement in December 2009.Initial role was preparing underwriting packages and collateral evaluation reports for lenders. File management/ expenses/purchasing/training/personnel file/incentive coordinator, facilities/move coordination (3 years). Developed/implemented automated solutions with each merger integration/normal course of business; continuous process improvements/leveraged numerous outsourcing options that made possibilities to accommodate increasing responsibilities necessitated by staffing reductions. Responsible party for managing internal reporting (initially built and managed department reporting database in Microsoft Access); Managed federal discount window pool of loans by clearing outdated exceptions thereby allowing Bank greater borrowing capability. Received commendation from bank Sr. Credit Officer (3 years); Participated in Bank-wide projects–Revised Article 9, Lien perfection Vendor selection, Outsourcing Initiative, Integration of bank-owned ABL unit; In-house projects–FileNet Imaging; Outsourcing of UCC/file management
