My journey started with programming FedM and FedX tables in IBM punch cards! Seriously! Moved on to Cobol and Basic and Pick, then a foray into implementations, customer support, office management. Found my home on the business side of technology in various roles as a Business Analyst, Conversion Analyst, Project Manager and Product Manager. Early in my career, development roles lead me to learn about different business segments - Credit Unions, Transportation, Fuel Oil systems (degree days anyone?), General Accounting, Medical Billing systems and finally Insurance. Took a path into the world of Surety Bonds which was very interesting and informative. Now, I'm back to Insurtech! Technology careers allow you to experience and learn about so many different businesses. I'm glad I went down that path as a young adult!
