Public Engagement Officer
CurrentDevelopment Perspectives are a development education organisation that works both with the local community and the global community using educational programmes to address social, political, environmental and economical issues. I have worked in Ireland, Tanzania, and Uganda on Development Perspectives projects.Responsible for Development Perspectives' existing communications portfolio (website, social media outlets, annual report, and media relations) and the distribution of an of an email newsletter.Responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of a short- and long-term communications plan and strategic plan.Responsible for preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, posters, leaflets, graphics, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes.Responsible for organising and coordinating events such as network meetings, workshops and residential weekends.Responsible for organising and coordinating certain educational programmes and projects.In addition to these responsibilities I have also coordinated and facilitated several programmes and workshops on Development Perspectives' behalf.
