Served as Director of Development and Community Relations for the Foundation. Key responsibilities included extensive marketing and developing fundraising resources for approximately 35 events and related activities each year. Activities include the following:- Developed and implemented ongoing strategic marketing and development plans to affect the agency's positive identity and fundraising activities.- Marketed and raised funds for hospital, developmental special needs, and behavioral health affiliates.- Primary focal point to communicate the organization's mission and brand and promoting fundraising activities and causes.- Responsible for traditional marketing of events and foundation appeals, including design, content, and distribution of print media (annual report, newsletters, and brochures), videos, target market research, ad placement and tracking, and active social media.- Instrumental in helping to raise $2 million annually through marketing and sponsorships.- Oversaw the content development and redesign of website and social media., as well as internal and external email campaigns, digital advertising, social media and video production.- Managed special programs, including the Smoke Stoppers Program which reaches over 20,000 students each year.- Led special projects related to sponsorship and/or marketing the brand of the organization.- Member of multi-discipline committees comprised of internal & external organizational members (eg., Diversity and Mission Committees).
