Recruited by the Executive Board and elected by chapter members for the role of a volunteer Treasurer. Responsibilities included directing financial strategy, planning and forecasts; guardian of chapter assets; accounting and record-keeping. I was also appointed as the co-chair of the Community and Economic Development Committee. I helped to develop a project to bring the intellectual capital of MBAs to the East End of Pittsburgh community Homewood. The project was in collaboration with efforts spurred by Operation Better Block, a grass-roots organization that focuses on community building and connectivity. In addition, I led the Chapter through a +150k endowment process.

Directed planning, analysis, and management reporting initiatives for this publicly traded (NASDQ) start-up manufacturer of multi-megawatt fuel cell systems utilizing its proprietary 400 kW phosphoric acid fuel cell (PAFC) technology

Strategic support, financial leadership, P&L management for combined markets of $1.8 billion and financial tool development oversight. Chosen out of a group of 150 field planners to a corporate effort to restructure the FP&A process. Analyzed gaps, recommended new approach, led and delivered a large project to retool FP&A. Resulted in 50% reduction in planning hours of unneeded number crunching, shifted focus of Planners and Decisions Makers from data to insight and overcame numerous process and technical challenges. Team was nationally recognized with the CFO’s Corporate Recognition Award.
