Within hours of a tornado tearing through my neighborhood in March 2020, I was working to help my neighbors and Nashville community. Unemployment in Nashville increased rapidly due to the tornado and the pandemic. My position at Vanderbilt had been recently eliminated and I was in the perfect position to use my background and network to help others find employment. I also advise on HR best practice, change management and inclusive leadership.I am loving learning more about my passion topics - diversity & inclusion, sustainability and purpose-driven work. In addition to extensive individual learning, I completed cohort certificate programs in Sustainable Business Strategy (Harvard Business School) and Diversity & Inclusion for HR (Cornell University). My global cohorts have given me important new perspectives on D&I, sustainability and purpose-driven leadership. I highly recommend both programs!
