After meeting all of the objectives I was hired as CEO in a position that spanned 7 years until I left to develop my skills internationally. Reduced grant dependency and exceeded the 60% target for generated income demonstrating a strong methodology of value driven sustainabilityOther key achievements: Restructured, rebranded, improved inspection grades, implemented Investors in People as a tool for business processes improvement, drove forward self evaluation with Child at the Centre 2 and later Building the Curriculum 5 embedding the Curriculum for Excellence. Created and supported staff forums for consultation, negotiated with union representatives and legal advisors on redundancy. Led successful acquisition, growth, introduced use of social media and customer satisfaction. Attended the first Social Enterprise World Forum in 2008 with continued involvement to present date.
