And preparedness to do our own inner work in order to be freer to fulfil our purpose, and support our outer work of facilitating and leading the potential of the systems we serve• A humility and a desire to serve that puts the greater whole before the individual needs of any one person, group or subsystem• With the courage to stand by and for all this and speak out when external pressures want to overwhelm• With the wisdom and confidence to do just what is ours to do – nothing more, nothing less, and to look after ourselves enough to do this and keep resourced and balanced to enjoy our life Strong systemic leadership attends to all of this. It navigates both the seen and unseen connections within organisations revealing the conscious and unconscious patterns that ‘serve’ or ‘swerve’ the flow of thriving and success in an individual, team or organisation and its wider eco-system.
